Otherwise known as the "mask of pregnancy" or chloasma, this mode is characterized by discoloration of the skin of the face or tan that can affect anyone, most especially pregnant women. Melasma is usually difficult to treat and can have a serious impact on the quality of your life. But with treatment techniques both ancient and modern that may still be hyper-tonic and permanent depigmentation. Melasma treatments come in different forms and is performed using different techniques and materials.
Bleaching agents can be prescribed as a treatment for melasma. Depigmenting agents such as hydroquinone (HQ) can be bought without a prescription or indication. Medium peels using trichloroacetic acid as a peeling agent, while deep peels use a chemical called phenol.
Microdermabrasion or, more commonly known as microdermabrasion is a technique that cools the skin was also used to repair the hyperpigmentation.
