There are more chances of getting HIV when you already have Gonorrhea?
In case a person infected with gonorrhea had to have sex with someone who had HIV, he have 60% more chances to get HIV or AIDS.
The reason is that if you have a present a sexually transmitted infection going on in your body for instance, herpes, Chlamydia or gonorrhea then it is easier for HIV to infect you for the reason that your body is already past hit from the other infections.
Though, you have still had to get exposed to HIV from an infected person. The majority people don't know the fact that the transmission rate for HIV is in fact low in healthy human beings. So there are more chances that you have sex with an infected person and not get the HIV virus. You might have to have sex and intercourse with that person more than a few times.
Though, if you already got an infection like gonorrhea and it is continuously going on, then it’s easier to get HIV. So like having sex with that HIV infected person only one or two times, you may get HIV.
So always keep away from sex until you have a proper treatment and cure of Gonorrhea.
